ShadeSign® Shadow System Awning installed in Bridgnorth

We recently completed the installation of a captivating ShadeSign® awning for a client situated in Shropshire. With their newly-designed and remarkable residence, our client sought a remedy to provide shade for their patio area. The primary objective was to create shading that could effectively cover the expansive patio space.

Our Shading Approach:

In response to our client's needs, their architect had conceptualised a pergola system adjacent to the distinctive Apex-shaped patio doors, aiming to bring shade into the core living area. Consequently, our task was to find a shading solution that seamlessly integrated with the pergola.

After a comprehensive evaluation of various possibilities, we determined that the Shade Shadow System offered by ShadeSign® was the optimal choice. This innovative system seamlessly combines the features of an awning and a shade sail. Unlike standard awnings, the Shade Shadow system can be designed with a zero degree fall, and it can be much narrower in its projection.

Opting for this specific product allowed us to achieve shade coverage over a significantly larger expanse – in fact, these shade systems can span up to an impressive 6x6 meters!

The process of unfurling the sail and achieving the desired fabric tension is ingeniously simple. As the sail unfurls from the fabric roller, the tension cords wind up effortlessly through rotating cord cones. This ensures that the tension cord and sail remain taut in every position. Operating the Shade Shadow System is a breeze! Within seconds it’s easily extended, and retracting it is just as quick and simple using the control cord, which can then be conveniently secured.
